You couldnt edit the Samples you loaded into DMD easily. While I would agree that Drum Machine Designer is indeed abstract at best given that its no more than a faceplate for UltraBeat I would have to disagree that UB is weak. And Ill admit UB is not my go-to drum machine or sampler.
